About
Meet Julie
I am a mom, sister, and friend to many. Being in my 50’s has brought on some challenges but it has also come with lots of positive aspects too – such as believing in myself and feeling my best both physically and mentally.
I grew up in Ohio, graduated from THE Ohio State University, earned by MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and worked in the professional world before making the decision to become a stay-at-home mom. Nowadays, two of them are grown while one is in high school. They have helped me stay focused and grounded in this thing called life. They truly are my north star.
Currently, I am in the process of obtaining my certification as a CPT (Certified Personal Trainer – more to come on this!) and managing a vacation rental property while also volunteering for several organizations. And of course, being a mom to three wonderful children and two fun-loving dogs!
I am passionate about overcoming obstacles. I’ve always loved the stories of the underdogs, those who went from rags to riches, and when the impossible feats become reality. I am a believer that you can change your life by the power of your own mind. You aren’t stuck! Things can always be changed. As my husband would say when the kids or I would complain about something, “Either do something about it or stop whining!” His legacy continues to live on in each of us.
My hope is that someday when my loved ones look back, they can say that I inspired them to live their best lives. That none of us just existed, but we lived and did some good in this world. That we helped to make our world a better place.
And as we walk the paths, climb the mountains, and experience the peaks and valleys of life, know that I am here with you.
Sincerely — Julie
